Celebrating Team Spirit

Published December 10, 2024

At Springboard Health, our office culture is more than just a workplace atmosphere—it’s a dynamic blend of camaraderie, celebration, and support that fuels both personal and professional growth. From team-building traditions to recognition programs, our culture is designed to uplift every individual while strengthening the collective.

Cultivating a Culture of Celebration and Support
Freudenfreude, a term used to describe the joy one feels when someone else is successful, lies at the heart of Springboard’s work environment. We actively support the belief that success is sweeter when shared, and challenges are easier when tackled together. Our team celebrates big wins with the same energy as we support one another through hurdles, creating an environment where every employee feels valued and inspired to succeed.

A standout feature of Springboard Health’s culture is its tradition of weekly peer recognition, symbolized by the boxing gloves award. This award celebrates employees who have had a “knockout week” in their role, with the previous recipient passing the gloves along in a heartfelt ceremony. The outgoing award holder delivers a speech highlighting the accomplishments and qualities of the new honoree, reinforcing a culture of appreciation and encouragement.

This tradition reached a significant milestone on December 9, 2024, with the 700th passing of the boxing gloves, representing 700 weeks of superstar accomplishments, hard work, and team spirit. The boxing gloves ceremony exemplifies the company’s dedication to recognizing individual contributions while fostering a sense of community and pride.

Regional Recognition for a Stellar Workplace
Springboard Health’s culture has not gone unnoticed. As a Top Workplaces award winner for three consecutive years, the company ranked 13th out of 81 of the leading employers in Arizona in 2024. This recognition reflects the dedication of the team to create an environment that values inclusion, collaboration, and fun.

Springboard’s president, Catherine Pearson, shared her thoughts on what this recognition means for the organization:

“Receiving a 2024 Top Workplaces award honors the amazing team of energized and tenacious employees that make Springboard Health what it is. Through our fun and inclusive culture, everyone has a voice and a chance to shine. While the work remains hard, laughter and acceptance help us collaborate better so we can problem solve even faster.”

As the company moves toward the future, Springboard Health remains committed to nurturing a culture where every individual has the opportunity to shine. Whether through the weekly gloves award, encouraging peer support, or holding laughter-filled ping pong championships, Springboard has learned that the key to success is working — and celebrating — together.

Here’s to the next 700 weeks of innovation, teamwork, and knockout achievements!
